When people think of Inidan food they usually think of two things, curry and Garam Masala. Even though it translates to “warm spices”, it doesn’t mean it gives dishes heat. I like to think that it gives them more personality. Everytime I have curry I also seem to have a bottle of masala to add another element of favour.

A versatile blend, it can be added at any stage of making a curry which changes the flavour profile. The beginning, middle or as we use it, sprinkled on at the table according to your taste.

Garam masala is generally used as a condiment to add to curry dishes.

If you have more than one person eating, have some masala nearby. One curry can have many different flavour profiles by adding masala at the table.
