My first recollection of a spice blend was a jar of Italian seasoning that seemed to be in everyone’s kitchen cabinet.
Our Silk Road mixture is a simple combination of the herbs used in classic Italian cooking: crushed rosemary, basil, marjoram, thyme, and oregano.
Of course it is great with pasta and garlic bread. But we use it on roasted vegetable and potatoes to add a little depth.
💡 Tips
When adding dry herbs, add at the start of the cooking process.
Dry herbs need to “bloom” in oil to bring out their flavour. When using fresh herbs, add at the end, or after the dish is completed for the best flavour.

When cooking pasta you should heavily salt the water. It should taste like the ocean.
Ingredient : basil, marjoram, oregano, rosemary, thyme.
🍴 Shaker lid is only for certain blends that are finer. We suggest pouring spices onto your palm and sprinkle the spices onto the food in order to have a better control of amount.
